April, you’re looking a whole lot better than March already, let’s just hope you keep it up!
It’s been an interesting week this week, working and juggling the kids whilst they’re still off on half term. It’s a lot easier now they are a bit older but in some ways, it makes it more difficult as they want to do more things, meet their friends and with me out each day, they can’t always do what they want.
I have been a regular reader of Erin’s over at Reading My Tea Leaves for a while as she has some very interesting articles on simple living. This post shared a stunning poem coupled with a cute picture, something I just had to share.
Reading Day By Day
I’m currently on a reading kick, partly down to research for my debut novel but also because this time of year seems to always send me into a reading frenzy. If you struggle to find time to read, then this idea from Kara over at The Art of Simple is a great way to incorporate reading into your everyday schedule. I think it is partly down to the books that you choose too.
Looking for something to do this Sunday afternoon? Why not go out foraging. I have written about this before and want to make more time to get out this year. If you are looking to have a go, Lou and Dan from Littlegreenshed share their adventures to find wild garlic. This really is my idea of a perfect Sunday afternoon.
Have a great week…
