Time Out Reads – Inspiration

Time Out Reads - Inspiration ~Slowly Lived

Half term is coming to a close and I feel quite bad, we’ve not really done all that much as the children have all come down with this cold I shared around. At least they’ve had a week to recharge their batteries, ready for another term of learning.
One thing we did do this week, well myself and the eldest, was go on a ghost walk around Leicester as part of my upcoming ghost story writing section of my degree. I will share some more of the stories and information later in the week when I’ve taken some photo’s of a couple of the places we were told about.
I love school holiday’s, they give you extra time  in the mornings to relax and steadily embrace the day without the rush and tear we all have no matter how organised we are to get to school on time.
With this extra time, I managed to enjoy reading some great blog posts.
With this new approach to life, I am very interested in finding products, both for the home and for us, that at eco friendly and  have no nasties in them. Besma over at Curiously Conscious shared a post this week where she tried out an organic perfume made from essential oils.
I’ve been in a bit of a funk with my Instagram and photography recently. Now I’m no photographer but I love taking photos yet since the start of 2016, I just haven’t been feeling it. Tsh from The Art of Simple really struck a chord with me in her recent post talking about inspiration and how to find it when you’re uninspired.
Nature is a big influence on my life, I love living in the countryside and exploring all the treasures nature gives us. Kriss over at Wild at Heart found some oak galls and I love what she created with them.
Self care, an area I am still grasping and exploring and this post from Laura at Wholeheartedly Healthy shares some really great tips and ideas.
Sometimes, a collection of words and images speak to your soul and this post from Laura and A Circle of Pine Trees did just that.
Spread the love
