Time Out Reads – Celebrate

Time out reads - Celebrate ~ Slowly ive

This week every year is always super busy, my eldest son and daughter have their birthday’s a day apart, not really very good planning on my part, I know. Last year it timed well with my reading week from university but not this, typical.
This has meant very little time out for me but the trade off for making memories is so worth it. I love seeing how excited each of my three get or their siblings on their birthdays. They love sharing in their joy, eager to see what presents they’ve had and always ready with another chorus of Happy Birthday!
The posts are a bit on the light side due to this.
Restoring a home to its former glory is something I long to do one day, when our budget allows, but the very lovely Melanie over at Geoffrey & Grace shows the beautiful art of decay as they start their restoration.
If time allows over my Summer break, I’d really love to learn to crochet. I don’t really have any hobbies other than reading and writing, so I think crochet is a hobby that would fit in. Vicki, from The Owl and The Accordion, guest posts on Seeds and Stitches sharing her love or making.
Wondered why people try to slow down and live a simpler life? Fran from The Simplicity Journey talks about whats been happening since she started the journey.
