The Year In Books – January Picks

Spread the love

One of my intentions for 2016 is to read more, in fact at least two books a month. This is in part to do with the fact I need to read more to improve my writing, but also because I love reading but sometimes struggle to find the time to actually sit down and read a book not a blog post.

With this in mind, just before Christmas I stumbled across an article from Lara at Circle of Pine Trees talking about her year in books. I thought this would be a great way to help me keep my intention and also a way of sharing the books I read with you and hopeful some new readers too.
The books I’m going to read this year will be a selection of books on my shelf I’ve picked up from charity shops and tables as well as new books I’ve been recommended. I am also going to be including books I’m listening to on Audible, as I find I can “read more” using this app on my phone whilst I’m travelling in to university.
My books for January are:
The Fringe Hours by Jessica N. Turner
and on Audible

Moving by Jenny Eclair

Happy reading!
