Taking Stock: March

It’s the end of the month and time to take stock. I love writing these posts and they serve as a great reminder of all the good things that have come. I enjoy looking back and seeing what happened especially as I forget quite a lot of everything that goes on.

Cooking: This yummy and healthy Chilli. Very popular in the tea room too!
Drinking: Belvoir Fruit Farms Lemon, Honey and Ginger Cordial warm. Perfect for the cold evenings we’ve still been having.
Reading: Quite a lot as I seem to be back in the flow. Reviews to follow but my favourite book was The Stonecutter by Camilla Lackberg
Deciding: To restart this blog as a way of nurturing my writing practice
Loving: The lighter evenings even if losing the hour is slowly turning me into a zombie
Listening: #amwriting is one of the best writing podcasts as they cover all aspects of writing, not just novel or non-fiction
Watching: Eureka, I love this series and we missed the first season when we watched it on Pick a couple of years ago.
Needing: To join a writing group to give me some accountability for my writing
Wearing: Warm fleecy P J’s still even though we part way through Spring!
Noticing: Spring flowers are trying to make an appearance
Hearing: Mr Woodpecker in the little wood near our house
Celebrating: Being back at work
Pretending: Spring is actually here on the odd day we’ve had clear skies
Embracing: Slowing things down to try to live more intentionally

March has been an interesting month, winter has still been well and truly here with little signs of spring appearing reminding us we should be having warmer days.

What have you been up to this past month?
