April, I can’t say I’m sad to see the back of you! So much for Spring, I think this has been the longest winter I can remember.
Even though yesterday was the first day of May, there was still a small frost when I went out to let the cat and dog out! I just hope that as we’ve had such a poor spring, we’ll have a proper Summer.
As I try to do at the end of each month, here is April’s Taking Stock post. This is where I share some of my favourite things from the past month. It is a great way for me to look back and see what I did as I forget very easily/
Cooking: I’ve really fallen out of love with cooking this past month. I think I’m ready for a change of season and the new goodies that brings
Drinking: This beautiful bottle of Prosecco for my wonderful mother in laws birthday
Reading: I started this at the beginning of the month but I’m struggling to fit reading in at the moment.
Deciding: To start my new online magazine, T2
Loving: Our new kitten, Buster
Listening: Avicii, RIP.
Watching: Amazing inside videos on blogging as part of the Permission to Hustle accountability group.
Needing: More hours in the day, trying to get two sites off the ground
Wearing: My winter boots again, come on Spring
Noticing: The blossom is finally out
Hearing: The birdsong as more birds return after winter
Celebrating: My mother in laws birthday with breakfast out, a Chinese and a unicorn cake!
Pretending: That I have everything together
Embracing: That I can do anything I set my mind too.
April, you’ve been a very long, very cold month and I am so glad May is finally here, although, at the moment, you are looking very much like April!
