There really is nothing like a birthday to make you sit down and take stock of your life. I’m now half way through my 30’s and have finally woken up to the idea that time isn’t slowing down and I really need to get myself into gear and start making plans and completing them.
In the last 35 years, (yes writing that number has made me wince, how did I get that old?) I have achieve very few things and there are so many things I want to experience before I’m too old to do it.
Yes I have had three beautiful children, I’ve had a varied array of jobs and experienced life at both its best and worse but I often feel I am just going along with what is thrown at me rather than making things happen and taking control.
So, no more. I am going to grab life by the handle bars and steer it in the direction I want it to go. I have already started this in small ways, like starting my degree, but this isn’t enough. I have some financial issues I need to address, places I long to explore and experiences I want to share with my children before they are too old to want to share them with me.
With this in mind, I am going to compile a Bucket List for the next 5 years,
Things to do before I’m 40.
Alongside this, I am going to set a plan in place and follow it to make sure that I achieve the goals I set and that they are achievable goals too.
I will be sharing this list on here over the coming days, and will no doubt be adding things as I come across them so I think the best place for this list is Pinterest!
Do you have a bucket list?
