    Boost your writing

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to be a writer. It hasn’t always been something I have actively persued, I left it at the back of my mind until I stumbled into blogging six years ago. Since then, I have been writing almost daily, in many different areas and exploring different styles to boost my writing.   You see, if you want to boost your writing, there really is only one way that you can do this, by writing daily. Spend some quality time with each of my three individually. My little man and I took a walk across the fields yesterday, slowly, taking the time to see the world through his eyes, spotting the small things; fungi on a log, the rings of a fresh…

Once you were able to see across the valley, all the way to the sea, from the attic room. The light in here made it the perfect place to write, sew and draw. Many hours were spent up here in solitude, a little place away from the hustle and bustle of family life, a place to contemplate and create. Now it’s just a room for storing toys, empty boxes and lost memories. You only come up the wooden stairs when you’re looking for something or to discard more memories that no longer fit into your life. The room has changed, time has changed it. Rather than replacing the coloured glass…
