With the weather turning sunny and getting warmer, now is the time we start to think about peeling off and showing more skin. But does this the thought of this leave you shaking in your boots?
Most of us have been wrapped up over the past few months and quite possibly neglect our skin on our bodies. We tend to take great care of our hands and faces during the winter months but as we pile on the layers we forget that in just a few months we will again be revealing more flesh again and need to love these areas too.
Fear not, if you, like me, have been forgetting the rest of your body, then this easy and delicious body scrub will get your skin back into the tip-top condition ready for the summer sun.
Sugar and Vanilla Body Scrub
- 1/2 cup of oats
- 1/2 cup muscovado sugar
- 1/2 cup almond oil
- 2 tsp Vanilla essence
Simply mix all the ingredients together and then store in a clean, airtight container until you need to use it. I would recommend using this once or twice a week and then using a good moisturiser after.
Always test a small area prior to using over the whole of your body and not to be used by anyone with allergies to oats, nuts or Vanilla.
