7 ways to increase your daily water intake

I am terrible for not drinking enough water. Every week I tell myself I’m going to start to drink the recommended 8 glasses a day. Every week I fail. My skin is dehydrated, no matter how much moisturiser I use. So, if you’re like me, why not try these simple suggestions on how to drink more water. 1. Make a routine By linking drinking water to a daily habit, we will associate and remember. Some examples of this are every time we get up to go to the bathroom, grab a glass of water, when the program we’re watching goes to a break or finishes, take a sip. The more…

    Time Out Reads: New

I spoke too soon about Spring being here, the weather last week was awful, especially the mist and fog. But the reality of that is going through the soul-destroying tasks of posting on multiple Facebook groups and commenting on blog posts that I’m not really that interested in. Why? I’m going to blog how I want when I want and share it with who I want. I going to read and comment on other blogs…

    Word of Year 2018

The new is just around the corner and with it a whole host of new possibilities and beginnings. Yet I don’t feel as excited as I usually do at this time of year. Maybe it’s because I have held this turning of time with such high hopes of change only to be disappointed when the magic of new year hasn’t changed anything. This year I am entering 2018 with a determination, not hope. 2018 I am taking charge of my future rather than leaving it to hope and rolling with whatever comes my way. With only two years before I turn 40, I want to change my destiny from struggling…
